Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information URLs VAULT receives, why it is used and how verification documents are removed.
Information we process
We process information submitted to operate a link page, including display name, biography, public links, uploaded profile images, contact email and access authorization. Basic technical information such as IP-derived security identifiers and session cookies may be used to prevent abuse and keep private areas secure.
Identity verification
A verification application may include a legal name, email address, payment reference, government-issued identification document and a selfie holding a handwritten note with the profile URL and two social-network URLs already published on that profile. These materials are used only to confirm identity and control of the profile.
Permanent deletion of identity files
The identification document and selfie are temporary. They are stored outside the public website and are permanently deleted when verification is completed or the applicant closes the request. They are not retained as part of the completed application. While a request is pending, the applicant may request withdrawal and deletion using the contact address below. The limited exception is when the operator reasonably believes material must be preserved or disclosed as evidence of fraud, a crime, exploitation, an immediate safety risk or a legal obligation. In that case, only relevant material is retained, access remains restricted and it is deleted when preservation is no longer reasonably or legally necessary.
No routine monitoring of profiles
The service does not routinely open, inspect or evaluate a creator's page or external destinations. A limited review may occur only when the creator requests support or verification, a report or complaint is received, a technical or security issue requires investigation, there is a reasonable indication of fraud, illegality or danger, or review is required by law. Automated processing needed to publish links, select icons and enforce security controls is not a human content review.
No sale or exchange of information
We do not sell, rent, trade or exchange personal information or verification documents. We do not use identity documents for advertising, audience profiling or unrelated analytics.
Payments
Verification payments may be completed through PayPal or another external hosted payment provider when a payment link is available. The selected provider processes payment credentials under its own privacy terms. This site does not receive or store card numbers, bank credentials or payment-account passwords; it stores only the payment reference supplied with the application.
Public information and service providers
Published profile content and destination URLs are public by the creator's choice. The creator, not the service, decides what to publish and is responsible for that content. Private information may be processed by the hosting provider and email infrastructure only as needed to operate the service.
Safety, reports and authorities
If a report, verification submission or other specific circumstance creates a reasonable suspicion of identity fraud, forged documents, exploitation, unlawful content, threats or immediate danger, the operator may restrict the profile, preserve relevant evidence, contact emergency services or law enforcement, and cooperate with a lawful investigation. Information is disclosed only when reasonably necessary for safety, investigation or legal compliance.
Retention and security
Profile data remains while the page is active or until it is deleted. Completed verification records may retain the applicant name, email, payment reference, status and internal notes, but not the ID or selfie. Short-lived security records may be retained to enforce rate limits. Reasonable technical controls are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may request correction or deletion of private information, withdraw a pending verification application or ask a privacy question. Public profile owners may edit or remove their published information using their private key.
